@greenfury87 It's true he described a society without religion, but it's clear his view on perfect society includes communist elements I do not agree with. IMO, a society with "no possessions" wouldn't be that great

@nyankichi1: What Lennon is describing is a humanistic society. All societies on Earth have been based on religion or greed. There has yet to be a humanistic society, this song doesnt describe Communism because Communism has been proven to be murderous, not humanistic.

@zackfair73195 All Wars have been for Economic reasons. Religion is a facade used to control populous and get them to rally around jingoistic sound bites / flash points so that the rulers / influencers / war profiteers can send others to die and reap profits. Military industrial financial banking complex wants perpetual war for perpetual peace. There is more profit in conflict and war thus constant war: destroy- rebuild and send those who challenge your power to die for control of resources
